SINGAPORE, DEC 3, 2024 – In November, The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific hosted its star-studded APAC Content Showcase in Singapore. The event saw journalists, influencers and celebrities from across the world flying in to witness the unparalleled strength and appeal of Disney’s creative excellence, with a preview of the company’s upcoming theatrical and streaming content – all projected onto Harkness screens.
Day one of the event saw audiences at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands get a first look at upcoming titles from Disney’s theatrical studios, including – Disney, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Studios.
Day two saw The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific unveil a wave of announcements surrounding its upcoming slate of Disney+ APAC Originals, included the breaking news that Moving Season Two is in development, following the company’s successful collaboration with Moving and Light Shop creator Kangfull.
With best-in-class theatrical and streaming footage being displayed to the world’s media, the company relied on Christie CP4435 RGB Pure Laser, series 4 projectors beaming directly onto a 15m x 6.38m Matt Plus screen from Harkness Screens along with two additional 11m x 4.5m Matt Plus side screens to deliver a truly world-class immersive experience to all in attendance.
