myHarkness Calculator

Part of the myHarkness platform, The myHarkness Calculator allows engineers and exhibitors to ensure that digital cinema investments are fully optimised.  Quick and easy to use, the tool identifies the capabilities of equipment choices and provides recommendations based upon chosen screen size and maximum brightness levels for 2D and 3D.  It also calculates theoretical operating costs and shows how screen choice might reduce these dramatically.

The first tool in the myHarkness workflow, the myHarkness Calculator enables users to explore technical configurations to carry out early stage verification on technology specifications to ensure that they theoretically deliver suitable presentation quality.

Part of the myHarkness Workflow
Through the unique myHarkness workflow, data created in the myHarkness Modeller or myHarkness Planner can be utilised to carry out rapid operating cost analysis calculations. Likewise data created in the Calculator can be used in the Modeller to create detailed 3D digital simulations or in the Planner to carry our complex calculations.

Work Alone or Collaborate Together
Using the latest cloud technologies, you can create project teams and work on auditoriums with colleagues or even Harkness’ experts.

Any Device, Anywhere
The myHarkness platform enables users to load and save data in the cloud. Users can move from one device to another seamlessly with data accessible anywhere and a uniform experience whether in a browser or on an iPhone or Tablet.

Multi-Language Support
The myHarkness Calculator is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese.

Current Digital Cinema Manufacturer Content
The myHarkness Modeller features a comprehensive inventory of all digital cinema equipment, from series 1 lamp-based projectors through to the latest series 4 laser-based projectors from major manufacturers including Barco, Christie, GDC and NEC.

Improved User Interface
Identify suitable configurations faster with the improved UI.

In-Depth Presentation and Cost Analysis
Interrogate multiple projection and screen setups and identify those best for brightness uniformity or operating costs, all from the enhanced results screen.  For lamp-based projectors, showcase every lamp choice available for the chosen projector and their respective brightness levels.
